4. Commercial Break Workouts
It’s okay to watch TV. Some people think this may be lazy, but it’s okay to relax once in a while. However, when you do watch TV, make yourself workout at the same time. During commercial breaks do quick little exercises to burn more calories like sit ups, push ups, leg raises, etc. There are lots of fun commercial break workouts you can find all over the internet that will help you not only burn more calories than just sitting the whole time, but it can actually make watching your show fun, too!
5. Don’t Stress
I know it’s impossible to say “Don’t stress,” because everyone stresses out, even a little bit. However, try not to stress out so much. If you’re a person that gets easily stressed out over the little things, try taking a step back, take a deep breath and don’t sweat the small stuff. Stress will curb your metabolism and will cause your body to store fat instead of burn it.
6. Walk And Talk
Most often when we talk on the phone we sit down to do so. Well, to easily burn a few extra calories, walk around while you’re talking on the phone. Pace around your home, walk up and down your stairs, walk around your office, walk around in your backyard, etc. It’s still easy to leisurley walk, but you’ll get in a little more exercise than if you were just sitting.
