7. Take The Stairs
When you have the choice to either take the stairs or take an elevator, always opt for the stairs. Again, this will exert more energy and burn more calories than standing in an elevator. Besides, who wants to stand in a stinky, stuffy elevator anyways?
8. Fidget
I’m sure you’re mom taught you not to fidget when you were growing up. Well, what if I told you that fidgeting was actually a good thing? According to a study done at the Mayo Clinic, you can burn up to 350 more calories a day than someone who remains stationary. So go ahead, tap those feet of yours.
9. Park Far
Every single time you go somewhere park as far as you can so you have to walk farther than you normally would by taking the closest parking space. You’ll easily burn more calories by doing this, and you still won’t be exerting that much more energy than you normally would be. In a time crunch? Still park far, but walk briskly to your destination so you still burn more calories.
10. Drink Water
I’m sure if you’ve ever looked up anything about how to lose weight faster or easier, you’ve noticed that everything says to drink water and I know you’re probably sick of seeing it. But, there’s a reason why all those articles recommend drinking plenty of water. Water is extremely important for our bodies, especially when it comes to burning calories. When you’re hydrating your body with enough water, it will actually boost your metabolism and help you burn more calories. Not to mention that drinking more water will fill your tummy up and you won’t be as hungry or want to eat as much through out the day.
