4. Use A Humidifier As Much As Possible
Humidifiers are great to use when you’re battling a cold because they keep the air nice and moist. The extra humidity in the air will offer your sinuses relief from the dry air that’s probably irritating it even more.

5. Take Steamy Baths And Showers
To help loosen up the mucus and therefore the amount of pressure you’re feeling in your head, take nice, hot, steamy showers and baths. The steam from the hot water will help keep the mucus loose and help it to drain easier. The heat will also help with the aches and pains your body is feeling in your shoulders, neck, and back.

6. Use A Neti Pot
A great way to relieve some nasal pressure when you’re sick is to use a nasal rinse. I prefer to use a NetiPot. If you’ve never used one before I may gross you out telling you about it. If you have used one, you know how amazing they can be. Basically you put a saline rinse inside a teapot looking container, then tilt your head to one side and put the water up your nose so it flows through and comes out the other side. Gross, right? Although it is a little gross to think about, it does wonders for your sinuses. It completely clears them out and helps you actually breathe.
