7. Alter the Pacifier

If you alter the pacifier in a way that your child won’t be able to use it the same way, they will lose interest.  You can poke holes in it or you can slowly cut the tip off each day a little bit at a time.  Just be very careful when doing this method as pieces may break off and could result in a choking hazard for your child.  Before trying this method do some more research on how to do this safely, or ask your pediatrician on how to safely do it.
