5. Repeat, repeat, repeat
Sometimes tantrums last quite a while, your child hoping they will eventually wear you down. If the issue is a toy in the toy aisle that it not up for discussion, repeat your reason to them continuously until they calm down. “We will not be getting a toy today because you screamed at mommy in the store.” This way, there is no confusion on your child’s end as to why that stuffed animal won’t be going home with them.
