4. Prep Your Grill With Olive Oil
A great way to keep your food from sticking to the grill is to rub a little olive oil on it before you start cooking. Like the onion, it will also infuse your food with extra flavor. Sounds like a win to me!

5. Use Your Microwave In A Hurry
If you’re crunched for time you can always use your handy dandy microwave. Place the meat you want to cook in the microwave for a few minutes to start the cooking process. Then, before it’s fully cooked, transfer it to the grill. This will still give it the amazing taste from the grill, but will be cooked in way less time. It’s a great solution for those last minute foods we need cooked while our guests are waiting.
6. Soak Your Skewers
If you’re going to be putting any kind of food on a wooden skewer, soak the skewers in water for about 10 minutes before putting the food on them. This will make it so they won’t burn and it’ll be easier for the food to slide off.
