7. Label Buns With Ketchup
If you’re going to be cooking your guest’s meat to order, write how they would like it cooked with ketchup on their bun. As the bun makes it’s way to the grill you will know exactly how everyone wants their burgers cooked. Once the meat is cooked, put it on the un-labeled side and leave the bun open. This way your guests can see what meat is cooked which way.

8. Cook Fish On Lemon Slices
One of the more frustrating things about grilling fish is that it tends to stick to the grill and even on occasion pieces will actually break off and fall through the grill. To prevent this from happening, slice up a lemon and lay the lemons on the grill, then lay your fish on top of them. Your fish will still cook, but it won’t get stuck to the grill. The lemon will also give your fish a lot of great flavor as it’s cooking over it.
9. Spiral Cut Hot Dogs
If you really want to wow your guests, spiral cut your hot dogs. This isn’t just for a cool, unique look as cutting them like this allows them to get more crunchy and also allows more places for your condiments to go when you start loading them up on your hot dog. It’s easy to do by simply inserting a wooden skewer through the middle of the hot dog. Then angling a knife and cutting into the hot dog as you roll the hot dog away from you will create this perfect spiral.
