13. Postpartum Cravings Are Worse Than Pregnant Cravings
People are always so fixated on what pregnant women are craving. In fact, I was questioned many times while pregnant what weird things I was craving. Well, the fact is that I didn’t really crave much during my pregnancy. Here and there I wanted chocolate milkshakes and Carl’s Jr. chicken stars, but other than that I really didn’t crave much. I thought it was pretty cool and that I was really lucky not to have any crazy cravings. Well, now one told me that you get postpartum cravings as well. Holy moly was I shocked. I craved everything all the time for a few months after I gave birth. I wanted specific kinds of ice cream, certain foods from restaurants, certain cereals, and special candy. It was out of control.

14. You Will Feel Hungry All The Time
If you breastfeed be prepared to feel and be hungry all the time. Nursing burns a lot of calories and as such you will be hungry more often. I couldn’t believe how hungry I felt all the time. I could easily eat just as much as my husband and STILL want more food. My stomach felt like a never ending black hole that could never be full. So be prepared and stock up on lots of food, especially healthy ones so you and your baby can be as healthy as possible.
