As tempting as it may be to grab that adorable puppy-dog headrest for your little one to nap on while they’re on the road with you, do not add it on to the car-seat. This goes for any other type of add-ons as well including neck-pillows, harness covers, any toys that hang from the car-seat, etc. Simply put, if the item did not come with your car-seat when you purchased it, do not add anything on to it! Items like these can change the fit of the harness, making injury more likely in a crash, and many times, anything that was added on to a car-seat can void out your warranty in the event of a crash and car-seat failure. Keep it simple, keep it safe.
