Cinnamon, Havarti & Apple Grilled Cheese
Ingredients
2 teaspoons unsalted butter, softened
4 slices cinnamon-raisin bread or whole wheat bread
4 thin slices Havarti cheese
1 small to medium Fuji or Golden Delicious apple, cored and thinly sliced
Directions
1. Butter 1 side of each slice of bread- this side will be your outside part of the sandwich that will toast on your skillet. Layer cheese and apple slices on the opposite side of the bread, and place another piece of bread on top, with buttered side facing out.
2. Heat skillet over medium heat. Lay sandwiches, butter side brown, on skillet and cook until each side is toasted.
