Crescent Wrapped Baked Apple Brie
Ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) can Pillsbury refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1 (8 ounce) round Brie cheese
- 1/2 apple, sliced thinly
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- and crackers apple slices for serving
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Open crescent roll and separate into 2 diagonal sections. Take each section and form into a square. Ensure all edges are pressed firmly to avoid openings.
Center brie cheese in the middle of one square, then layer apples and brown sugar sprinkles on top. Form the crescent roll square around the bottom of the brie cheese.
Lay the second crescent roll square on top of brie and apples. Press together the edges of both dough squares. Using pastry brush, spread egg over entire crescent roll dough. Place on cookie sheet.
Bake in oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Ensure brie has cooled at least 10 minutes before cutting. Best served with bread, apples, or crackers!
