3. Lemons
Most of us have lemons around the house often and here’s even more reason to keep these citrus fruits close by. Not only does cleaning with lemon leave a pleasant smell in your wake, they are great at killing off unwanted bacteria! Rub slices across your cutting boards, and squeeze juice on that gross mold and mildew growing in your shower. Wipe clean with a wet towel. Chop up a slice of lemon and feed it down your garbage disposal to grind up stinky food and leave behind that lemony goodness. Mix baking soda and lemon juice to your teapot and boil for 15 minutes to remove water deposits.
