Look, I get it––it’s trendy and I don’t want to shell out the money for one either but the Hydro Flask makes our list because it gets the job done. They keep beverages cold for up to 24 hours and hot beverages warm for up to 6 hours. They come in a decent amount of solid colors and range in size from 12 to 32 ounces with varying mouth pieces. They’re also leak proof and don’t get that annoying condensation on the outside! Prices start around $25, but keep your eye our for deals at places like Costco! S’well water bottles are another vacuum insulated stainless steel water bottle option. They have tons of fun designs, but a more narrow mouth so it may be difficult to squeeze in ice cubes. The manufacturers claim S’well bottles keep hot beverage warm for 12 hours (compared to the Hydro Flask’s 6) and cold beverage chilly for 24 hours. Ever poured half a bottle of water on yourself because the wide mouth opening? Then you may want to check out the Takeya Actives, a bottle-and-spout combo that is much easier to control and drink from.
