4. Keep the Kids In The Dark
Sharing a 1 room hotel room can get tricky, and often ends up in everyone waking each other up often. The great thing is most hotels have amazing black out curtains! If you are blessed enough to have a multi-room hotel room or adjoining room, put the kids in the other room. If you will be sharing 1 room, I’ve heard parents get creative and use the entry way, closet or even bathroom as a place to put the baby crib. Obviously you won’t be far away so you aren’t doing anything unsafe. You are creating a calm environment to sleep and maybe even a little extra time for you to unwind, if you don’t want to hit the hay at 7:30 with your kids.
