5. Consider a Sound Machine
We’ve all experienced a loud hotel room, whether it’s careless neighbors, loud plumbing or an unfortunate room by the elevator. While we may be able to drown it out, our kids are probably hearing every squeak! Noises can be obnoxious but also scary for a child in a new place. Think about purchasing a decent sound machine or bringing a small fan with you to help drown out the noise. Sound machines are compact so they won’t take up much suitcase space and will even come in handy at home. Everyone will probably sleep a little better with one of these!
