3. Unpack Kids Room First
If you’ve put your toddler’s boxes on the truck last, then they’ll be the first off! Set up their room first so that its ready for them when they get to the house. When we pulled the crib pieces out, we noticed the movers neglected to get all the remaining screws out and 1 was missing. We couldn’t put the crib back together without it, so I had to make an emergency run to the hardware store. I was so glad I started on that project first, instead of waiting til 8pm at night and finding out we had no crib to sleep in!
