6. Blueberries

Blueberries have some of the highest antioxidant levels and are a super fruit. What does that mean? They are capable of protecting our bodies against free radicals that can cause diseases like cancer and have very high levels of Vitamin C, which helps fight stress. Vitamin C is so handy because it not only helps the psychological effects of stress, but physical as well. Blueberries are also low in calories, keeping you thin through the holidays. The great thing about blueberries is that they are available almost year round! Frozen is just as healthy as fresh. Just remember, raw blueberries are the best. That cobbler won’t do the trick!

EatingWell.com has some amazing ways of using blueberries (think: Chicken and Blueberry salad!) that you may not have thought of before to keep you going back for more!
