2. Detox Bath
Sometimes detox methods can involve the outside of your body, like a detox bath. Allow yourself at least 40 minutes to gain the full effects of the bath from start to finish. Run a hot bath and add Epsom salts (2 cups for an adult, and a 1/2 to 1 cup for kids), 1-2 cups of baking soda, and ground ginger or essential oils (optional) and mix well in the tub until all have combined. These ingredients will interact with the water and your body to replenish magnesium levels in your body (which will lower high blood pressure), cleanse and release anti-fungal properties, and if you add ginger will help you sweat out other toxins. A 40 minute bath is optimal but if you’re kids are banging down the door, a 20-minute one will suffice.
