6. Cut It Out
This sounds more serious than it is, but most of us will admit to being addicted to one of these: sugar, caffeine, alcohol and cigarettes. For your body to fully detox, cut out these things and do your best not to relapse, post-detox. These are basically substances that your body has a difficult time processing, despite how happy it probably makes you to consume them. These items take up valuable space in your body and have virtually no nutritional value, put undue pressure on your liver, can cross the blood-brain barrier, and are cancer causing.
