7. Adjustments Made Easy
Truth be told, the absolute hardest adjustment of having children is going from no children to plus one. Before a child comes into the picture you really have no idea what to expect and your future is as unpredictable as the weather. That first fateful night with your firstborn changes everything as you become parents and are enamored by all things baby. But once you throw another kid in the mix, and then maybe another eventually later on down the line, the juggling act becomes a bit tricky. But in all honesty, going from no kids to one kid is the hardest. One kid to two kids is trying for the first 6 months, and then adding a third? Heck, what’s another one. Like the sweet little old lady said to me at the post office the other day, “you gotta have 3 kids. 2 to share and 1 to spare.” Touché, little old lady.
