5. Light Up Words

If you want to have a light up sign in your home, instead of spending a lot of money on a prefabricated sign, simply string up some lights and spell out whatever word you desire.  It could be “eat” for your kitchen, “love” for your living room, or your child’s name for their nursery.  No matter what word you spell out, it will be a great way to bring in some extra lighting into any room and will look unique in your home.  Not to mention the fact that it looks totally awesome!
