7. Praise Them When They Do Well

Kids love hearing praise from their parents.  When your little ones are behaving well at the store make sure to tell them how much you appreciate it and how happy you are that they are doing so well.  You can even surprise them every once in a while with a little toy or candy bar at the very end of shopping if they did well.  It’s probably not the best idea to do this every time you go shopping, since they will then start to expect it.  However, it will be fun every once in a while for your little one to be rewarded for their good behavior.
