The last day of school is one of the most highly anticipated days by children.  Your kids probably already have a count down going for how many days are left until summer vacation.  As their parent, I’m sure you’re just as excited as you dream about lazy summer days with trips to the beach, laying by the pool, watching movies in your PJs, with no homework or projects to do and no making lunches every morning.  Since everyone is so excited about the last day of school, why not make it one of your child’s most memorable days growing up?  With these fun ideas for activities and gifts, we can make it a day they never forget:

1. Last Day Of School T-Shirt

For the last day of school you and your child can make a special t-shirt for them to wear.  The front can say something like “Last Day of 3rd Grade,” or “4th Grade Here I Come!”  You can use puffy paint, markers, or iron on signs and can write anything on the shirt that you want.  In addition, have your child’s classmates sign the back of the t-shirt.  They can write notes or simply just write their name.  It’ll be so fun for your kids to look back on over the years and see who signed their shirts and what they wrote.
