9. Throw A Party
If you really want to go all out, throw a last day of school or summer kick off party. Invite all your child’s friends, and have lots of fun games for them to play, treats for them to eat, and goody bags. Throw it at your house or at the park. Decorate with all things summer and get the kids really excited about all the fun things they’ll get to do on their time off from school. If you don’t want to deal with all the stress of doing it yourself, ask a few of your child’s friend’s parents to help out as well. It’ll be a fun party that all your child’s friends will remember all summer long.
