10. Seal the Edges
If you are already doing all of these things and your manicure is still not lasting, you could be forgetting one very important step. Make sure to seal the edges of your nail at the very top. This is the part of the nail where chipping and peeling will most likely occur. When you apply your top coat, simply put some on the very edge of the nail so as to ensure it will not chip.
