6. Wear Gloves
Exposure to water is one of the worst things you can do when your nails are painted. The water almost instantly makes the paint chip. Obviously there are times when you cannot avoid getting your hands and nails wet like washing your hands or showering, but anytime you clean, or do the dishes, slip on some rubber cleaning gloves before doing so. This way your nails won’t get wet and the water won’t increase the likelihood of them chipping.
