7. Taking Your Electronics To Bed With You
If you have an e-reader, tablet, phone or MP3 player in hand as you slide between the sheets, you’re not only prolonging the time it takes you to fall asleep (those screens are bright and inhibit melatonin!), you’re also one step further towards causing burnout. Take a break from the technology and keep your bed a place of rest and relaxation. You may catch an irritating email or post from a friend that keeps you from a restful nights sleep. You’re also setting a good example should your kids ever want to take a toy to bed with them!
