8. Constantly Cleaning

Kids are messy. PEOPLE are messy. If you’re in constant clean mode, you surely won’t enjoy much of the day and will probably be more irritated than anything else as you trail behind your kids picking up their messes. Maintaining a clean home is just one small aspect of motherhood, not the entire lot. Set a time to clean during the day and then leave the rest. It’s not that important and your kids would much rather have time with you than the mop.
