7. Registry Discounts
Even if you know that no one is going to buy you a crib or changing table off of your registry, still put those items on your registry. Many stores will offer discounts to you on items that you have put on your registry when you buy it. Every little bit of savings helps, so go ahead and scan that crib to your registry!

8. Dollar Stores
Surprisingly enough you can find some pretty awesome things at the dollar store. Remember that mobile I made? Well, I found the dreamcatcher at the dollar store! I also have bought frames, a ceramic owl figurine and an adorable owl stuffed animal at the dollar store as well. Also try going to the smaller mom and pop dollar stores that aren’t a chain store. You can often find better things at the lesser known dollar stores.

9. Ikea
The store Ikea definitely gets it’s own section here. You can find some amazing deals at Ikea on brand new furniture. This is a great option if you’re not into buying second hand items. Ikea allows you to buy brand new furniture for a much lower cost than other furniture stores. They have lots of great nursery furniture for very good prices.
