4. Sing Songs
Music is a great way to connect with babies and there’s no better music than the sound of their mommy’s voice. You can sing songs to your child whether they are nursery rhymes or today’s top hits. Do hand motions to the music and you can even help your baby do the motions as well by holding their hands and doing them with them.
5. Fabric Play
A fun way to play with your baby is to take different pieces of fabric with varying degrees of softness and gently rub them on your child’s face. See how they react to each piece of fabric and pay attention to the ones they like. It’ll be fun to see their reactions as you play with the fabrics and they’ll enjoy the soft touches of the fabric.
6. Baby Sit Ups
Who says playing with your baby can’t also help develop their muscles? Help your baby grow that baby six pack by practicing baby sit ups. Start by laying your baby down on their back on a blanket. Put your hands around theirs and gently and slowly pull them up into a sitting position. Give them a big kiss when they come up, then slowly lower your baby back down to the laying position. Repeat over and over again for a few minutes.
