7. Play With Toys
A fun way to interact with your baby is to take their toys and play with them with your baby. Put your child in your lap or on a blanket and show your child how some of their toys work. If it’s a pull toy, pull on the toy and let the toy do it’s thing. Watch as your child sees this happen. Roll a ball around your baby or make a stuffed animal move around as you talk to them. They’ll love seeing how their toys work.
8. Enjoy Some Air Time
It’s no secret that babies and children in general love being put up in the air and even thrown up in the air. It’s an exhilarating feeling as well as an exciting thing to experience. Take your infant and hold them up above your head and wiggle them around gently, then lower them back down for some snuggles and kisses. Make fun noises or funny noises as you do this to make them laugh and enjoy the experience even more.
9. Do Laundry With Your Baby
If you’ve got laundry to do, include your baby in it to make it a little more fun. As you take a piece of clothing you can slowly run it along your baby’s face to tickle them. Then depending on what piece of clothing you are folding you can show them what part of the body it goes on. If you are folding socks, show them where the socks go by tickling their feet. They’ll love the interaction they get from you while you’re doing something that has to be done during the day anyways.
