10. Make Fun Faces Together
Babies love watching the faces of others move and express their emotions. Get close to your baby’s face and make funny faces at them. You can even mimic the faces that they are making, or make a face then explain what kind of emotion that face represents. They’ll enjoy seeing your face and you’ll enjoy seeing their reactions to all the faces you make.
11. Play Peak-A-Boo
Peak-A-Boo is a classic baby game that all kids love. Don’t forget about playing this fun game with your little one. You can use a blanket to hide, a toy, your hands, a piece of furniture, etc. You’ll enjoy seeing your baby’s surprise as you disappear and reappear over and over again. You’ll also love hearing them giggle as you play with them.
12. Talk To Them
Talking to your baby doesn’t have to be boring. Get down on their level and close to their face and just talk to them. Tell them how much you love them, how happy they make you, how much fun you’re having, if you’re having a good day or bad day, etc. The sound of your voice and having you close to them will make them feel comfortable and happy and it’ll feel good for you to have someone to talk to even if they can’t respond.
13. Snuggle
One of the best things you can do about having a baby is that they are the best snugglers! Giving your baby snuggles can be so fun, so be sure to get a lot of it in before they get older and won’t snuggle with you anymore. You can cuddle them while they are awake or sleeping. Either way they will love being close to your body, smelling your scent, and hearing your heart beat.
