4. Exfoliate Your Lips
When taking care of your skin, don’t forget your lips, also! They need some TLC just like the rest of your body. Apply some petroleum jelly to your lips, then take a toothbrush and gently scrub your lips. It will remove any unwanted, dead skin and leave your lips very smooth and moisturized.

5. Moisturize Overnight
Sometimes our skin gets so incredibly dry that we need to give some extra care. A great way to deep moisturize your skin is to apply some petroleum jelly on those dry areas, then leave it on overnight. If you’re worried about the jelly getting on your bed sheets, try covering it up with some socks if it’s on your feet, or some gloves on your hands, etc. That way it will lock in the moisture.

6. Protect Your Skin From Hair Dye
Isn’t it the worst when you’re dying your hair at home and you get a little dye on your forehead or neck? You then have to spend a ton of time scrubbing it off with a wet washcloth. Well, now you no longer have to worry about that. Apply some of that petroleum jelly to your skin around your hairline while dying your hair, that way if it does get on your skin, you can easily wipe it off without it leaving any residue.
