7. Keep Practicing Like You Are And You’re Going To Be The Best In The World
When I was in third grade, my mom put me in piano lessons and it was like pulling teeth trying to get me to practice. You might have the same problem with your kiddos, so when you do find them practicing, encourage them with positive words. Tell them how amazing they sound and how if they keep practicing like they are that they are going to be better than anyone else at that certain talent. It might help them feel like their practicing isn’t in vain and that it’s actually paying off.

8. Thank You
Often times we can forget to thank our kids when they do something nice or thoughtful for someone when we’re running around the house trying to do the dishes, cook dinner, and help our kiddos out with homework. It’s important to thank our children for their good and kind deeds not only so they know they did something good, but so they will continue to do kind things. Acknowledge their kind act and thank them so they feel appreciated and noticed for their good doings.

9. You Look So Handsome/Beautiful
Everyone, no matter what your age, wants to feel beautiful or handsome. Kids even like to be told that they look good. You don’t have to tell them this so much that they become conceited and big headed, but make them feel good about themselves and tell them how beautiful they are. It’ll help boost their confidence in a world where so much is focused and judged on how you look.
