4. You’ve Never Felt Love Like This Before
You never really understand what love is until you have a child of your own. You will do absolutely anything and everything for your child. You will protect them every way you can no matter what it takes. You certainly never fathom this before you are a mother.
5. You Know More About Your Child’s Favorite Cartoon Than Sex In The City
I can’t tell you how any times my son and I have been out with friends or family and I’ll start talking about his favorite TV shows when I look at their face and see that they are totally lost. You forgot that people that don’t have kids don’t watch hours and hours of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse or Dora The Explorer. Then you realize that you don’t know much about any other TV show than your child’s cartoons. The TV is certainly no longer yours.
6. You Actually Eat At McDonalds
Before I became a mom I swore I would never eat at McDonalds. Just the thought of it grossed me out. It just seemed so processed and fake and said I would never take my children there. Fast forward a few years to having a toddler who is very picky with food and LOVES play places and you’ll catch me sitting in McDonald’s eating lunch with my son.
