7. Getting Out Of The House Is An Olympic Sport
Oh how I miss the good old days of leaving the house with just my wallet, keys, and sunglasses. Now if I want to go anywhere I have to pack snacks, make sure I have a pacifier, diapers, wipes, water and so much more. Not only do you have to pack for an army, but doing the most simple things becomes so difficult. You have to find your child’s shoes, fight with them to put them on, find your keys that your toddler miss placed, etc. It tires me out just thinking about it.
8. You Actually Want A Minivan
Remember when you were in college driving around with your friends talking about cars and swearing on your future children’s lives that you would never own a minivan? Well, you never understand how amazing minivans really are until you have children. They are so practical and easy that you start begging your husband to buy you one the day you have your first baby.
9. Showers Are Your New Day Spa
Let’s be honest, some days showers just don’t happen when you’re a busy mom. When the chance finally does come that you’re able to take a nice hot shower alone, you feel like you’re in a day spa. You turn that shower as hot as you can, let the hot water beat on your back as long as you can and savor every moment. That is, until your toddler comes running in asking you for dinner.
