7. Wine
You’ve probably heard before that a “glass a day keeps the doctor away” (or was that an apple?) but there are some definite benefits to drinking wine in moderation. Did you hear that? Moderation. Studies have shown that 1 glass of red wine is enough to relieve stress by depressing the central nervous system and lowering blood pressure. Drinking alcohol is not a long term solution for chronic stress, however. Keeping it to 1 glass will also prevent those unwanted calories from sticking to your waistline.
