4. Spend Wisely
While our generation certainly has financial issues, they are nothing compared to living through several World Wars and the Great Depression. Our relatives saved and spent money as if their lives depended on it. That’s why we see many of our elderly family still driving the same car they’ve had for 20 years, wearing their clothes from the 60’s and spending frugally. Even if you find yourself with little money problems, it’s our job as parents to instill a sense of responsibility in our kids to handle money wisely.
