7. Keep it Simple
I once had a friend who often complained about how her family had no free time because of all the baseball, soccer, music, karate and dance classes going on. Their lives were so cluttered up with shuttling their two kids in separate directions they didn’t have much time together. While our grandparents generation didn’t have as many options as we do now, they still kept it simple. Ask your kids which 1 (ONE) activity they would like to sign up for, and the rest can wait until the 1st sport or club is over. Your kids have their whole lives to participate in activities, there’s no need for them to do all of them at the same time.
