Losing weight can be one of the most difficult things you ever do in your life. It’s definitely not easy, and keeping the motivation while you are dieting and exercising can be one of the hardest parts. We all lose motivation along the way, but there are some great tricks that you can do to keep yourself motivated. If you need a little extra push to lose those few extra pounds before summer, here are some great ideas:
1. Start Off Small
Goals are a great way to motivate yourself, however, make sure the goal you set for yourself is attainable. Setting a goal that is too high or too unattainable is setting yourself up for failure. On the other hand, you don’t want to set a goal that will be too easy to reach either. If you aren’t working out at all as of right now, set a goal to work out 3 times a week and then maybe after doing that for a month move up to 4 times a week. This way you will not overwhelm yourself with a goal that is too big and then get discouraged when you can’t meet it.
