7. Do Not Bring Small Children with You To Visit Unless Given the Okay
This is only allowed if you have asked prior to coming or the small children know good and well how to behave around a small baby. Children are notorious from carrying germs with them from schools and playgrounds, etc., and if at all possible find someone to look after them while you arrange a time to visit mom and newborn. Kids can also get excited and wound up, and this is especially true in a hospital setting that is not the ideal environment for small children. Do your very best to leave them behind in someone else’s care while visiting.
