#2 – Teddy Ruxpin
Ah, the beloved Teddy Ruxpin, a teddy bear that would read stories to us via a cassette tape. Some nights he would lull us to sleep with his storytelling, other nights, when his batteries ran low, we feared he’d become possessed. Children these days will never know the joy of reading with Teddy, or the fear of walking across the room in the middle of the night, only to have Teddy Ruxpin “talk” to you, because you forgot to turn him off.
