9. Dreamfeed Your Baby
Many moms have had great success with “dream feeding” their baby. If you’ve never heard of this before, basically what you do is once your baby is already asleep and you’re about to go to bed, go in to their room and feed them one last time before you head in for the night. Most babies will eat while they’re still sleeping or at least half asleep. This will fill them up even more and help you get a few extra hours at the beginning of your night’s sleep.

10. Try Different Swaddling Techniques
Babies also love to be cuddled and held while sleeping, which can make it hard for them to sleep in a crib all by themselves. Swaddling helps a great deal when it comes to this. You can use a blanket to swaddle them, but if your child can break out easily, you may want to try a swaddle sack. There are many different kinds of swaddling sacks out there that stay put all night long and still give your baby the sense that they are being held tight and secure. My favorite ones were the SwaddleMe Pods because they use zippers to secure closed instead of loud velcro. They also unzip from the bottom which make nighttime diaper changes much easier! They are nice and fitted, your baby feels cuddled, but they still are able to move if they wish.
