2. A Warm Bath
This activity may take some more dedication than others simply because bath time can be long and get tedious over time if you do it every day. However, a nice warm bath is a great way to calm down any child. Yes, they may get riled up playing the in the water, but the warm water will also help relax their bodies. You can even try adding essential oils or calming scented bath salts to the water to help relax them even more. Help your child understand that bath time is not play time, but rather a time to relax. Once they are all clean, wrap them up in a towel, get them nice and warm, put on some clean pajamas and give them some snuggles before putting them down for the night.
