5. Reduce Sugar

It seems like a form of torture to take sweets away from a pregnant woman, but your teeth are already susceptible to decay. Reduce the amount of sugary foods to help avoid plaque buildup, which can lead to gum disease. Make sure you brush often, especially after eating a particularly sugary snack. Trust me, if I’d realized how sensitive my teeth were, I would have eaten differently!
