6. Practice Good Home Care
As much as I thought brushing and flossing your teeth is a no brainer, many pregnant moms tend to neglect their teeth. Chalk it off to “pregnancy brain” I guess! You can make your 2 visits to the dentist, but if you don’t practice brushing and flossing at home, it won’t make much of a difference. Did you know that women with periodontal disease are more likely to have a pre-term, low-weight baby? If that’s not reason enough to send you brushing, I don’t know what will!
