4. Make Your First Day Back Mid-Week
You may not have a say in your return date in some states (they are very exact about when you lose job protection), but if you do, try and schedule your first day back in the middle to late week. You will be able to get back in to the swing of things for a few days and then have a break. You can ease back in and hopefully reduce some of your nerves about leaving your baby, since it will be short that first week.
