Going to a water park is always really fun, but definitely not the cheapest option for a family activity. You can often times find discount tickets on soda cans or from fast food restaurants, so be on the look out this summer. Even though it may cost you a bit more money to do, it’s certainly something that the whole family will enjoy doing and will create lots of great memories.
8. Make Lemonade
There’s nothing better than a cold glass of refreshing lemonade on a hot day. Making lemonade is one of the quintessential summer things to do because it tastes so delicious when your thirst is quenched from the heat. Make up a batch with the kids, then enjoy it as you sit outside in the sun. You can even set up a lemonade stand for your kids to sell it from if they want. Either way, the drink will be yummy and refreshing.
9. Make Popsicles
Kids love popsicles, but let’s be honest, they’re not always the healthiest treats to eat. However, if you make your own you can make healthier versions that will still taste great! There are so many different and great recipes on Pinterest for homemade popsicles that both you and your kiddos will love.
