16. Drive In Movie
When the weather’s nice outside at night what better thing to do is there than going to an outdoor movie? There are many cities that will still host drive in movies during the summer. You may have to drive to a neighboring city to find one, but they’re out there, I promise. Imagine how much fun your kiddos would have watching a movie outside on the big screen.
17. Wash The Car
Another great thing to do when you need to cool off is wash the car. It’s great because the kids think that it’s something fun to do because it involves water and getting wet, but really they have no idea that they’re working. Just make it as fun as possible by squirting each other with the hose and drenching each other with the sponges and towels. It’ll definitely make for a fun time.
18. Attend A Concert In The Park
One of my favorite things about summer are the fun things that the cities put on because the weather is perfect for so many different activities. One of those activities are concerts in the park. Many cities put these on and it’s great because not only can you get out of the house on a nice evening with the kids, but you get to enjoy some music, dance, possibly eat from food trucks and other vendors and so much more.
