13. Feed The Ducks
My son loves going to feed the ducks because he gets to be outside and also because he gets to see the ducks! Kids love being around animals, so feeding the ducks is always a highlight. Be sure to stop by a feed store on the way and buy food that is safe for the ducks to eat. You don’t want to poison them by feeding them human food!

14. Campout In The Backyard
Summer weather means warm nights that are perfect for spending all night outside. Set up a tent in your backyard and have a campout back there. The kids are guaranteed to love having a sleepover together with their siblings and with you. If you’re feeling extra adventurous and have the time, actually go camping somewhere and explore the land a little bit.

15. Have A Bonfire
Oh, bonfires. They’re one of the best pastimes most people have. There’s just something about having a fire at night in the middle of no where with your friends, cooking food and making yummy treats. The great thing about bonfires is that you can do them just about anywhere. Well, at least as long as they are permitted. Head up to the mountains or to the beach and have yourself a grand old time.
